The Taj kurta and churidar - both in cotton silk Chanderi, plant-dyed Kohl with Myrobalan. The kurta is long and sleeveless and hand-embroidered at the neckline in glass beads. Both pieces are edged with silver silk tissue woven with metallic zari yarns. Lined in red viscose silk.
Paired with a double georgette dupatta - one side plant-dyed Kohl with Myrobalan which is edged with metal lampi gota, the other plant-dyed Pyaazi with madder root which is edged in red.
The set includes the Taj kurta, churidar, and double dupatta.
Cut and sewn entirely by hand in our studio in Mumbai. Made especially for you, shipped within 2-3 weeks of receiving your order.
Hand wash cold, line dry in shade. Plant-dyed hues age with time, as all things in nature do.
Natural variations in colour and weave are part of the textile.
